My Story
Exceeding Expectations One Client at a Time
I have been teaching various forms of yoga for over 12 years and have specialized in helping people overcome personal obstacles that impact their ability to lead a more purposeful and happy life. I leverage a toolset of techniques to assist people in manifesting more significant connections within their bodies, cultivating a healthy nervous system, and naturally releasing tension caused by the invisible wounds of stress, anxiety, trauma, and/or addiction.
Over the last decade, my practice has been centered on relieving symptoms to promote continued healing and leverage inner and physical awareness as strength. Through various techniques, including breathwork, meditation, gentle asanas, somatic yoga, qigong, and neurogenic tremoring, I have helped empower people to heal, experience growth, and transform into a healthier version of themselves. The community I have served includes veterans, business professionals, first responders, refugees, those incarcerated, students, and many more who suffer from stress, anxiety, trauma, and/or addiction. My passion for healing and growth, inspired by my life experiences and education, has contributed significantly to the thriving yoga practice I enjoy today.
I am the Yoga for Trauma Recovery cofounder, a JOY Teacher Training faculty member, and a Thriving Through Transition and Embodied personal coach. I am a former marketing manager at Apple, co-founder of Mariposa Montessori school, and a proud mom of three. I enjoy new experiences, traveling, studying Buddhism, the outdoors, and nature; I love spending time with family and friends and living a purposeful, happy, and grateful life in San Jose, California.
